Why we went with wood.
Plastic brushes snag, crackle with static and do nothing for your scalp. Wood was the simple fix.
Most of us brush with plastic because that is what the store shelf had. It catches on knots, it builds static, and the scalp never gets anything but shampoo.
So we put together a few simple wooden tools: an air cushion brush with wooden pins, a five finger scalp massager, a fine tooth comb and a folding travel comb.
